Studies show that there is no one cause of suicide; but, there are some risk factors that may lead to suicide. One of these is feeling alone. Sometimes, it can be hard to identify if a friend or family member is facing a mental health crisis, but it’s beneficial when we start having open conversations about mental health, ensuring that people are aware that support exists for people who struggle with mental health (depression, anxiety, etc.) and that getting out and getting active can help.

RunningIn Philadelphia, there are many opportunities to be active, which may help to reduce symptoms of depression and prevent suicide. Whether you come on your own or bring a friend – join one of these free classes to improve your well-being:
