Mindfulness Meditation and Chair Yoga

Ground your mind and body with Mindfulness Meditation and Chair Yoga. Spend a peaceful half-hour with a guided meditation.

Chair yoga is a twist on traditional yoga, making it accessible for any age and ability.

There are two 30 minute classes: the first class begins at 12:30 and the second class begins at 1:00

Eat Clean on a Budget: You will learn helpful tips for buying healthy food items year round while sticking to your budget. Also, come prepared to learn why eating a diet with processed and refined foods actually costs you more in the long run! We will test our knowledge with games/activities!

Support For Chronic Disease Sufferers

Support for Chronic Disease Sufferers: In most cases, the development of chronic disease has little to do with genetics and A LOT to do with your daily food and lifestyle choices. There are many ways for you to improve your quality of life just by changing a few of the choices you make each day. You will have the opportunity to assess yourself for areas where you can make improvements!

DIY Plant Based Milks

DIY Plant-Based Milks: Buying plant-based milks at the store can be costly, and can sometimes expose you to ingredients that do not promote good health. Making plant-based milks at home is easy, costs A LOT less, and you have full control over what you do (and do not) put in. We will go through a demonstration of making a homemade nut milk, and will sample a few different types  so that you can see what you like best!

Based on Chinese soft-style martial arts, modern T’ai Chi is best known as a gentle slow-motion exercise that improves balance, leg strength, relaxation, deep breathing, calmness, focus and alertness.
