If you are looking to show your body some fitness love, spend a little more time outdoors, or get to know your neighbors better join Strawberry Mansion’s FREE 8-week interval training program to build up your mind and your muscles.

Join Lee Scottlorde every Tuesday evening at 6pm and every Saturday morning at 9am for the 8 weeks leading up to the event on September 8th.  Working out not only strengthens your body but also the activates your mind and there’s no better place to start your fitness journey than the The Boxers’ Trail, great the same trail that famous boxing champ Joe Frazier practiced on.

Join this FREE exercise class with ULiftU, a program that helps re-entering citizens become certified as CrossFit trainers. The class uses body weight exercises and strength training, but all moves are modifiable! EVERY Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 6pm to 7pm at Martin Luther King Rec Center.

Adults of all ages and fitness levels are welcome, the instructor can adjust exercises as needed! Check out their video to learn more about ULiftU below:

Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for a dance fitness workout, in West Philly. We’re a group of men and women who like new friends and new results. Bring a water bottle and a friend. Bonus: We’re kid friendly.

We Walk PHL seeks to increase positive use of Philadelphia’s park system, support physical activity, and create opportunities for people to pursue fitness goals while meeting their neighbors.

This program is intended for all Philadelphians with an interest in walking (and rolling) which includes individuals of varying abilities. Walking is ageless, sexless, and timeless. Male or female, young or old, walking or rolling— ALL people are encouraged to participate the walk groups.

Tuesdays: 8:30 am Hunting Park, 9 am FDR Park, 9 am Tacony Creek Park

Wednesdays: 9 am FDR Park

Thursdays: 8:30 am Hunting Park

Based on Chinese soft-style martial arts, modern T’ai Chi is best known as a gentle slow-motion exercise that improves balance, leg strength, relaxation, deep breathing, calmness, focus and alertness.
