Indego- Adult Learn to Ride Classes @ Athletic Rec Center
Mar 22 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

This FREE two-hour class teaches adults and teenagers 16 and up how to ride an Indego bicycle. This class is perfect for those who haven’t ever ridden a bike, or haven’t ridden in a long time.

Staff and volunteers will teach participants balance, pedaling, starting, stopping, steering, and shifting gears.

This class will use Indego bikes, and participants will receive helmets.
Sign-up is required and spaces are limited.

About the class:

Do you want to try Indego, but need to build a little more confidence in your city biking skills?

Are you interested in biking during the spring months, but can use some tips on doing so safely?

Urban Riding Basics is a FREE 90 minute class that will give you the knowledge to bike safely and confidently in Philadelphia. We cover everything you need to know to have fun and be safe.

  • Making sure your helmet fits
  • Choosing a route
  • Tips for riding safety

No bike needed! At the end of the class, you will have a chance to test ride an Indego bike (helmet provided).
